Unlocking OEM Stereos

Is there an easy (read 'cheap') way of unlocking stereos?

My dad has the CD player out of my old 306 D-Turbo in his car and has lost the unlock code and Pug want £25 for the privelege!! Bloody stereo isn't worth that!!

sometime, yes. Some have a predetermined pin which relates to serial/model #. If you know make/model/serial and post it i can ask a friend on a diff forum if it can be done and if so will sort you Others require reading of the pin from the radio which is fairly specialist hence the price.

Is there any chance this can be done for the factory fitted radio from my '94 valver? I have the radio, but no code, it'd be nice if it worked...
