Unlocking Xbox DVD Player?

Hi all,

I've done a quick google search but couldn't find much info on this ...

I'm off to the States in a couple of weeks and plan to bring some dvd's back - is there anyway of unlocking or playing imported / foreign dvd's on the Xbox 360?

I think I know the answer for my next question though - are the Xbox 360 games region coded aswell? Ie - I can't play US imports on a UK machine?

you cant and the second question is not all are region locked

your welcome there si a website that tells you what ones are region free i just cant remember the url
