UPDATE LIST???

Hi All
Ive been looking at ipod adapters on ebay and they all refer to "update list" stereos.
can anyone tell me what an update list stereo is or even if my 53 reg 172 will have one.

There are two different types of 172/182 headunits. Update List or Tuner List. Look on your headunit as to which one you have.

172 will be Tuner list I believe, Update list only appeared in 2005.

those iposd adapter that are just a cable do not work you need a connect2 aux adapete bthey ar elike £45 posted, you need that to decode the signal from the line in to the CD changer signal, if you know what i mean, so far no ne has been able to rig a cheap aux in for a Tuner list, only the update list.
