**Update on brake problems!!** ARGH!!

[Frasers Cup]

I've been searching around everywhere for a brake master cylinder for my 172 cup but eurocarparts dont have the right one and specialist renault breakers in acrington told me the cup doesnt have a master cylinder!! WTF??!!

The renault main dealer are looking for at least £130 for one and 2-3 working days!!

Is there anywhere else I can get one??

have you tried gsf(german swedish french), they always seem to have what i need

Just checked and they dont seem to have any master cylinders for a clio in stock.

I've just phoned renault, they can get me the part for tomorrow morning as the nice guy on the phone put it down as a priority delivery and he also gave me a 5% discount on the part...

Not alot but better than a kick in the nuts..

The part that renault ordered is not the right part!!

They ordered another in today and its still not the right part!!

I dont know what else to try!

GSF dont stock it neither do eurocarparts!!

Well I cant really fault the one in bishopbriggs... I mentioned that my car has been off the road since last weekend and the parts guy said he would put it on a priority delivery and sort out a discount for me.

unfortunately it was the wrong part.

They seem to think renault have made an error with their batches as they keep sending out the single circuit cylinder and it needs to be the dual circuit...

I think I would be within my rights to ask for ren uk to pay for my hire car as Im waiting for this mess to be sorted...
