i have spoken to the car dealer inquestion about why he sold it! and he said he was well within his rights to sell the car because it was pending finance!! he did apologise and said he would give me £100 on top of my deposit paid as way of sorry. he also said he would source another one out for me and that he would search the country to find me one??? should i trust them? he did sound very sorry and he felt bad...

yeah take his money, you havnt lost anything in the end of the day have you! Get him searching the country for you, you might come across an even better car than the one he sold.
