First post here so hi everyone
.Looking at getting new stereo + maybe speakers for my car (92 1.2 RL) Not looking for anything expensive but the unit would need to play mp3s and around £100 would be preferable. As for speakers dont reall have much of a clue, only got fronts in at the moment but the mountings and cabling runs to the rear at either side of the parcel shelf. Is 10cm a standard speaker size? as thats how big they are. What I was thinking was get new front speakers and move the current ones into the rear mountings - sound sensible?
Current stereo isnt standard, but its a basic Ford branded radio cassette, got the usual DIN plugs and should be easy to remove. Not sure about the wiring that the unit plugs into though. Halfords is just round the corner and they have a stereo sale on atm
so Ill probably pop in and have a chat with someone in there.Any recommendations for a stereo/speakers or other advice?
