Long story but ive got a problem with the car stuttering when flooring it. The whole car kind of labours if i push the pedal down at any pace and just wont accelerate, hits a sort of wall.
The rolling road guy is pretty sure its a fueling problem but where not quite sure exactly what it is.
Its running a SMT6 and up to 4k revs its running at its maximum settings and the cars still running lean!!
Ive changed the injectors but it hasnt helped the problem. A Fuel pump change is just a possibility hence the topic.
Any ideas what it could be thats causing the problem?
The car has cams, head work, inlet work etc
This all came to light after the car was found to be running dangerously lean. It was mapped and produced a disappointing 192 bhp and after driving it home it developed this stuttering problem. It went back on the rollers and made only 187 bhp only a week after making the 192 bhp !!
