uprated BRAIDED BRAKE LINES

P

Philpott

whats peoples thoughts have the goved max discs and ebc red stuff pads which will be changing asap to ferodos

  Golf GTD Mk7
they are yeah. They won't expand like the standard hoses and hense maintain the pressure in the system. So pedal feel is better yeah. Make sure if you are uprating the brakes that you do the fluid too. Put castrol super dot 4 in it. Really good stuff.

By the way, I have'nt yet tried the Ferodo pads but, if you want extreme resistance to fade, I can highly recommend Carbone Lorraine. They're dirty and noisy but f'uck me do they stop a Clio. I'm using them with Brembo Max, and they stopped the car savagely lap after lap without ever once fading. In fact they take the heat so well that they were still taking the piss right up to the point I boiled my fluid, and the fluid was Castrol SRF FFS. Fogs and liners out = no boiling fluid and no fade.

They are supposed to be awersome yeah, but be aware of the ruined alloys and the discs won't last too long.
