Urgent clutch cable help

Any tips on removing the rubber bung where the clutch cable goes into the bulkhead??

Does the bung go out at the engine side or the cockpit side ??

Ive disconnected the cable at both ends but i cant get the cable out through the cockpit.

Pull the cable out from the engine bay best stick a bit of string on it so you can pull the new cable back through the pedal area.
