Urgent Help / Advice Needed!

Hi all,

Ive recently blended a TV into a section of my clio's dashboard. I trial fitted it and was a perfect fit, so time came to respray the unit in a funky metallic back. I was about to refit the unit when my friend reversed his car off my drive, and his chrome 17" went straight over the f*kin tv unit ive been making for the past week.

I cant repair the unit as its in 3 broken sections, and bits of fiberglass are here and everywhere, so i need to start afresh.

Could anyone tell me if this section of a clio dash is available to buy on its own as i dont need the whole dash, and it is possible to get it out seperatly if the melted lugs are broken on the rear of the plastic..
I cant get to renault at the moment to ask, and via the phone they dont seem to know what the hell im going on about....

Hopeing someone on here may know if renault can supply this part seperatly etc,

If anoyne on here is splitting a clio and has this piece then even better and get in touch!!

Picture of the section i am on about - when it was a standard piece it had the holes for the air vents etc.. im just after the plastic part, none of the lcd or vents etc.

Apart from that though i can't see why it cant be bought seperatly from renault... called a centre console iirc

It's part of the upper dash AFAIK and will hardly ever come up separately.

would it be available from renault as a sepaerate piece?

I very much doubt it, I've never seen one available separately. Even the factory Sat Nav install which is basically the same as you have done is a new upper dash.

Just checked the Dialogies and it isn't listed separate, it's part of the upper dash.
As said though, raid your local scrappies!

bugger, well ive messaged everyone on ebay that has a clio breaking.... dont know any breakers yards around here that have clio's in as i had look for the driveshaft and had to just buy a new one, grr lol

Drat... well thats my friend gettin a nice black eye... only messin,,, il just have to try and knock something up outa f/glass... bit of a tricky section of dash to mess around with IMO.
