Literally cant find any info! No Renault garage anywhere near me either to get a filter, thinking of just Reserving the premium brand one and hoping it's a Bosch or other familiar make.

Any advice for tommorow would be amazing! New to all this but keen to learn all about my car

Edit: okay so im not sure if the links work, one filter is made by GUTTMANN and another by Crosland, then there is a third option of "premium brand filter" which I believe varies on stock, really not sure what one to get.

Links don't work and lets be honest... how is this a urgent help needed? Are you at the side of the road trying to save you're family or something? In which case remove the air filter all together and get to the hospital

Its a 1.2, any air filter will do. I wouldn't spend out more for something that wont make any differance and will be changed in a year or two anyway.

It's an oil filter so that's why I'm unsure because of how important the oil is, its quite urgent because someone in my family's going to show me how to change the oil and filter this morning and I need to get the filter for 12 and can't ask him about it before then where it will be too late anyway

Haha sorry guys, just had literally nothing but hassle recently with this car just keen to make sure something actually goes right with it for a change, starting with making up for the service it had bodged this morning with a mechanic in my family who's teaching me bit by bit loads to do with the car if I get the parts just don't wanna mess it up anymore than has been since buying it.

Blueclios.. get any if you aren't buying a renault one.. although renault ones arent expensive? Any oil filter will be fine for you. Can I ask what oil you are using and have you got a new sump plug washer and the square key to undo the plug?

5w40 from Halfords on the offer they've got currently (4 litres for a tenner and it's at the renault specs), got the washer and the plug key literally got everything but the filter that I need by 12 today so Im gunna find out what brands ecp has and get one of them, likely the crosland one at the moment unless they have Bosch or something

Nope didn't go ahead with it as planned on that day but was shown every step. Will be doing it ASAP and will try to stop being annoying to you all! Im going to buy cliosport membership and if there isn't one then ill write a guide when I do it for other people new to cars with a 1.2 and an interest in servicing it and hopefully I can help out others like you all helped me thanks again hope you all had a great Christmas!
