URGENT help needed with headunit

While fitting my head unit today I had to use an aerial adaptor. Which i did to connect to the aerial then the headunit. The problem is that i tried to take the aerial out cos the headunit wouldnt fit in properly. But when i tried to remove the aerial it pulled off the metal rod inside the original aerial and left it in the adaptor. As shown below:

Now i cant get any reception on my radio when its all connected up. What can I do????? Help:(

cut the connector off the aerial cable in the car and fit a new one, and if you cant remove the pin from the adaptor get a new one of those too.

possibly halfords, sextons or a decent car audio/security place. go in explain whats happened and they should get you the right part.
