my car went down to renault last week for top mount mod and a new lower arm and since then have had a strange clunking noise from same side as new lower arm on full lock

went down again today and now they are saying i have a problem with my driveshaft on that side

would the drive shaft have been tinkered with when fitting a new lower arm as the noise has only developed since fitting it

and would a 40 mm drop cause drive shaft to pop out as thats what they are trying to blame it on

im not 100% sure m8 but they took it on a test drive and heard it pop, they think it has popped out but you know what renault are like for giving you the full story

so would the drive shaft been out/messed around with to fit a new lower arm m8

find out whats damaged, ask to see the parts if needed, DON'T be fobbed off

i've seen LOADS of outer gaitors "pop" off

i find it hard to figure out WHY/WHAT is damaged, the drivers side one is the weaker one IMO
