Urgent Help ** web server down

Basically the internet hosting company has gone down which means my company website is down!! Just had an expensive ad go to press today aswell!!!

Is there anyway i can get it hosted temporarily(sp) ???? i dont have a phone number for the hosting company either

Unless you know differently it's most likely just the server your site is hosted on and it'll probably be back up in a matter of minutes.

and if it isnt you could host it somwhere else and redirect the dns entry for your site. can take up to 24 hours for dns changes to propogate properly though.

Maybe it was your add that caused the web server to crash ? you know .. two people visited your site at the same time .. your running windows/IIS right ?

It'll be way too much trouble to edit DNS etc.. and, if you're host is down, and they host your DNS, even more trouble..

I say just sit tight, and hope it comes back quickly.

If you still need it hosted, and it's reasonably small sized, I can host it for u temporarily.
