Urgent: How to unbolt the steering rack from the collum?

if this is to remove the manifold, the rack can stay in place

put it all in one thread rather than starting new ones, it's hard to keep track like this

This is what i have done now. If you look at picture 2, the steering collum is holding up the steering rack. From inside the car (picture 3) i have unbolted the 1 bolt. But, the steering rack is still attached :S. how do you take the rack off from the collum?

You'll have to prise the bottom of the column apart where it clamps on to the rack with a big screwdriver etc, they can be quite difficult to seperate.
