urgent info needed!!!!

own a 1998 mk2 phase1 clio 1.2 8v. o/s/r wheel bearing collapsed due to some t*at at Tanvic Tyres, Grantham, over tightening the big nut!!!

does anyone know the correct torque for the big nut???

The hub nut should be torqued to 175 Nm (129 lbf ft) - should use new nuts as well.

them nuts have to be ft! he must have been a real man to over tighten that.

i know.i always just give them some dog with the trusty airgun.i dowt they overtightened it.they must have damaged it when they took the drum off.
