URGENT!!!!! Missfire

Clio Sport 172 suddenly just developed a majour misfire and seriously lacking in power, just put new spark plugs in it, made no difference what so ever, any suggestions or anyone know someone near by i can check coil packs ht leads? Thanks

Try swapping the Lambda sensors around, i.e. post - pre & pre - post & see if it sorts your problem out. If it does then just buy a new lambda for around £80-90ish (Bosh)
This happened on mine, was fine in the morning & fcuked in the afternoon. Turned out to be the manifold air pressure sensor that went, which made the car over fuel and drowned the pre cat in fuel & fcuked it!
APS was £70ish & is an easy fit once you have the old one out, the lambda sensors are even easier to change so long as you have a spanner =)

Might be wise to take it to a garage & get it on a diagnostic machine to save you from buying $hit you don't need.

basically got the engine stripped as we speak! Very weak spark from the coil pack lead 2 only though, gettin 2 fault codes 0110 & 0136..................wtf is going on?!?!

Google the fault codes. They should be prefixed with a "P" aswell. P0110 from searching comes up with MAF sensor and Air Temperature Sensor.

P0136 points to Lambda sensor apparently.

Mine was leads.

Maybe injector?

Or Lambda, but does that just go like that, or does it screw your MPG first?

jus change the lambda probe round like everyone is suggesting they can go at any point.. mine did and just started misfiring like a mothertrucker! you may be pleasantly suprised.. i was skeptical too about the lambda causing this much s**t but after pulling mine apart and changing that last it worked!
