*urgent oil question*

I wonder if anyone can help me. My oil light has been showing low for the last few days to I went to get my service manual out to check oil type and Renualt havent gave me one.

Could someone please tell me the oil required for a 2003 clio 1.2 16v dynamique.

1.2 16v - 5 litres

Oil type:

10W30 10W40 10W50

has it been changed before? i found out my delaer put shell semi in so i topped up with that, if its new stuff that hasnt been changed b4 who knows, whats in it, the deralers certainly dont.

the oil has never been changed before.

So I can put in any of those three weights and it wont matter?

if your only toppin up mate then most things you put in wont make much difference

jus put a decent quality 10W-40 in
