238mm discs and pads from euro car parts in Mary hill was less than £45 iirc (not including bearing's, the bearings are £8 each mate)

Ive got a set of discs and pads waiting to be fitted just not had the time

kwik fit just came up with a price of 500 odd quid for rear pads and disks...

apparently only renault make them...and they are dead special...

i nearly pished myself in sheer disgust...

It wont be anywhere near £100 never mind 500, kwif fit are hopeless mate.

I tried to get a price for 4 tyres and he started hitting me with prices for over £600

i take it the disks and pads are the same for the 172/182..

Im assuming so mate, i know there 238mm at the rear and 280mm up front.

Euro will ask the car regi plate (i think they can access the build details from there computer's so it should be a problem accessing the right parts)

no need to watch for the abs rings too? can they come off the originals?

When you ask for them you can specify that they have them (i think there solid to the disc, dont think they can be removed iirc)

i got genuine renault front and rear pads for the 182 for £31 inc vat 2 weeks ago from main dealer supposed to be £42.50 plus vat.........RESULT!!

Renault quoted me £350 for supply and fitting of rear discs and pads. I ended up getting the discs and pads from K-TEC with CS discount 5%.
