urgent safety recall!!!!

just on my way to pick up my 172 from the dealers after a bit of work, got a call saying the michelin pilots were being recalled for safety reasons and they were going to fit a full new set of continentals instead... anyone heard anything... or is it reno covering up for the fact that their mechanics have wheelspun my tyres to death and have to fit new ones!!!!

i have just checked the michelin website, theres no mention of any of this!!!! no if you excuse me, im off out to get p*ssed then on boxing day night me and the missus are off to the red sea for some well earned R&R!!!! happy xmas yall!!!!

There were people on here before that have had their michis replaced with contis so your not alone.

renault dont say what the reason is but they request all the tyres back so they obviously dont want people fitting them to other cars instead of throwing them away.probably a bad batch at production.

well they jus recalled all peugeot 206s as they have brake faults!!
