Urgent! - when 2nd Cam belt on williams

i need to knoiw when the second cam belt interval for the williams is? i know there is one around 70k and i thought from then on it was every 35k or there abouts? meaning a 106k williams is due a belt?

Any help much appreciated ASAP

i dont think there is any offical intervals after the 72k service, but id say every 30k or there after would be a safe bet.

Hi Phil,

hows the car going? i got bored of the VW relability and sold the golf this week. Im thinking of buying something a bit more involving and there are a few cheap Williams about hese days (my mechanic is subsidising the pruchase!)

I remeber the guy who took a williams 3 to 210k had the belt snap before the interval but i couldnt remeber how often he was changing it (im looking at high mileage williams)

Every 72K

Most people do it around 60K

Mine was done at 36K

I heard that every 36k was safest, even though thats half the actual specified mileage. Even if you do it just to make sure, still a lot cheaper than a whole new set of valves etc!

to be safe get it changed every 30k mate!!!
