dbpoweramp or cdex, although i thought cdex only ripped from burnt media, as opposed to file conversion?

Yep, just looked and cdex can only convert WAV files to compressed audio and vice versa.

i managed to get a copy of xilsoft audio converter .... needs a license but if you get it working is excellent, does mp4 too....

^ I use the video convertor and its a good program, but only does 2mins at a time
