Using Bluetooth on Dell Inspiron 9300

  Liquid Yellow 182
My Inspiron 9300 laptop has Bluetooth, but I have never used it. I would like to be able to connect my phone to the laptop via Bluetooth and cannot seem to turn the Bluetooth ON on the laptop. I have tried the Fn-F2 to enable wireless connections, but still cannot find my phone.
This is absolutely doing me head in now....!!

Please can anybody help?! :S

Go to control panel>bluetooth devices.

If its not there you dont have it, or it may need to be enabled using device manager.

Mmm I've tried that. I definitely have Bluetooth on the laptop, just don't know how to turn it on... there's even a little light that should glow when it's on.

grrrr hate puters
