v-power

  Mk1 MX-5 next summer
i wanna put some in the 1.2 to clean it out abit, shud i let the old norm unleaded run out first, does it matter

  VRS
im sure it would just mix a dilute so it wont do any harm. i would let it run into the red b4 filling up tho and then you will have pure v power running through the cars veins :D

  Dirty E91
You'll need a couple of tanks worth for it to do anything. is it worth it, what about some sort of engine cleaner you can add when filling up?

I wouldn't bother using anything in addition to V Power, Shell have invested millions developing the fuel...

You wouldn't buy a Bugatti and then install a £5 'chip' off eBay would you? Well not unless the chip endowed the Veyron with handling that would give it a chance of keeping up with a Clio in the twisties!!!!!!! :rasp:

TBH I doubt if using V Power for the first time would help clean any crud that has been accrued. It may be better at keeping everything clean from new but would have thought some Forte stuff would be a better option to clean the whole fuel system.

Then try V Power but think it may be a waste before.

i had the idea using it over a long time it helps prevent s**t building up, if u want a quick cleaner go for the radex engine/petrol cleaner stuff.

Think I would first check that you can use 99 ron okay in your 1.2

Some of the smaller engines don't like it.

Brother has a Seat Ibiza and 97 ron and above is strictly out of bounds.:S
