V6 255 or 197 Cup??

i'd only ever own a mk1 exige

the 197 cup "Fred version" would be fully stripped out, about 1inch off the floor, white and some other bits (yozza exhaust obviously!)
 
keep the vee mate, but if you have to promote ur company just get the 197 and develop some bits for it

This forum's not just about Renos it seems, also about peoples issues. In Fred's case the need for self aggrandizement. What I'd really like to know is why he left Yozzasport.

i dont really care about that , i care that he is going to get a slow white car and get rid of an exclusive black supercar

agreed lets face it an s2 exige is the 197 of the lotus world,, ie: its got soft and fat and lardy,, not the hard core beast of old.

i suppose they have to sell them to the spit and polish brigade these days rather than cater for trackday animals.

because i'm moving to sweden!

also the to insure a standard V6 in sweden is £4K per year!
 
Hmmmmm....i'd not touch a MK1 Exige...i know how bad they can be. And there aren't many left in unmolestered form!

I'd be very interested in seeing a Ph-Fred 197 Cup. The version Renault SHOULD have made.

Then again i can't see it being that much cheaper to run than the V6...both like a drink.
 
don't think its possible to empty the tank on a 197 in 2.5hours!

renault did do the white after i harassed them into it! maybe i should ask them to do a PH-FRED? LOL
