Being Pedantic ;), buts its RAC Trackstar...Tracker is a different company and product.

Make sure you phone RAC Trackstar and get them to check they can currently see or locate your car too. Its free and piece of mind.

dont want people to post the position of the tracker on here for obvious reasons but I take it you owners know where it is? and they use several different places in the Vee?

did the MK1 have a tracker too?

Only the guy who fits it knows where it is I was told. You should have a little certificate with his signature on it.

Why would you want to know where the device has been installed on the car? I had it as OEm on the Impreza P1 and in 2 yrs never once thougt about where the device had been put. Just got Trackstar to check they could locate my car...They did this acurately within 3ft of someones front door :D

By the way RAC Trackstar are not the most efficient of companies I waited 6/7weeks before it was active and had the insurance company breathing down my neck................you need to horse them on cause your insurance company will want to see the certificate in you name :)

there is a position code on the certificate, so i assume it would be pretty easy to find the location with access to the right computer.
