V6 Car Ramps

Does anyone know of any portable car ramps that will work for the V6? Obviously the front is very low, and I think most ramps are too short.



Any suggestions welcomed!

When the maindealer services them they drive them onto the flatbed lift ramps coz they cant get the swinging arm ramps under them. What i used to do with mine is drive it up a kerb and slide a standard jack under the rear or front subframe depending on what part of the car i wanted to work on.

Cheers j3ned, at the moment I use a normal car jack to get it up a bit, and then Ive got a trolley jack for the rest, but Id rather use ramps as its quicker and safer....

talking of ramps the V6 catches on the AA recovery trucks thought id mention it just incase anyone is unfortunate enough to need them.

it will go on flatbed trucks backwards, or if it need spec (spectacle) lift it goes on thoes backwards also, it should always be a full lift or rear suspend tow anyway cos of its rr setup!

sorry! i didnt read all of the thread (again). whereabouts in the country are you, i could modify your ramps to suit if your nearby (northants)?

easy job, just cut,shut&weld back together, did mine the other day. to fit under my lowered 172

Im in MK, so not far away....but I dont have any at the moment - I had a quick look in Halfords, and they only had ones which fitted <185 tyres...
