Can anyone with access to the wiring diagrams for a Mk1 V6 tell me where I can source a signal for the tachometer. This is so that I can fit an aftermarket tacho.
If the signal to the instrument cluster is not multiplexed that would obviously be a good candidate but some idea of what the signal is i.e. 12v square wave and how many pulses per revolution ( I am kind of assuming 3) would be very useful.
