V6 or not

OK I am really considering buying a MK1 V6 I can pick up one for a reasonable price now.

However I am worried about servicing, obviously it is going to be more then my current 172, but are there any major issues with it? i.e. am I going to be paying out the nose to keep it on the road??

Also how easy is it to find people that can service/work on it, what I mean is are Renault competent enough???

There bad enough with my MK1 172.

  Clio v6

My 172 12k service was £193.00 The V6 12k service was £211.00 so not a great deal more.

Any Renault "Premier" dealer should be competent to deal with your needs.

TYRES, TYRES, TYRES......

I you dont like doing 360s then change these as soon as you suspect the tread is getting too low.

Last invoice for 4 tyres £439.20 inc all the usual balancing, valves etc.
