V6 Replacement - Petrol Blue 182.

  Petrol Blue 182.
I've had this for a few weeks now as a replacement for the Vee. Already done quite a few things to it.

Sold the Vee as it was my house deposit and using it as a daily was putting too many miles on it. So off I went looking for a replacement to potter around in.

I looked at a couple of 182's but the majority needed belts doing on top of what people were asking for. I had a budget of 3k and I considered this to be healthy! I originally wanted RB or Inferno, but when this Petrol Blue came up for sale, I just couldn't pass at the chance of owning one of the rarest colours.

I drove to Nottingham the next day and a deal was made.

Althougth the paintwork is in reasonable condition and seems to be original, the car overall was in need of a tidy up, mechanically as well as cosmetically.
It wouldn't go into first gear properly and there was a hideous blow from the cat.

Have a look at my project thread to see how far it's come!

Still a few more bits to do yet.
Needs a couple of dents removing, detailing and the headlights need cutting back and polishing.

Cheers for all the comments! :D

Looks like a completely different car! Well done you skinny prick x

Well Jel!

How you finding it compared to the Vee?

Looks like a good one

I love the way you can chuck this around and it's just happy to do it, I really missed the fact you couldn't really do that in the Vee so I'm loving that at the moment.

Massively miss the torque and the noise however. It's quick, don't get me wrong, but you just don't feel like you're being booted up the arse in this.
