V6 Vs Trophy at brands vid

I think your right, thats the problem with a mk1 v6, when pushing it hard thats whats always in the back of your mind, that back end stops you going round corners as fast as you'd like.

i gurantee that if you put someone who could really drive in the v6 it would destroy those trophy's... its just a matter of most people can drive a front wheel drive car well, but a lary rw drive car is something else entirely...

Think your probably right there, takes quite a bit more talent to drive a rwd car (espesially a mk1 v6) on its limits than it does a fwd car.

Did think the driver in the vid looked a bit novice..

I think pretty much anyone would be faster in the Trophy against a Mk1 V6. I don't want to start a war but the early Vees just didn't get the time needed to make a decent car, whereas the Trophy is a superbly executed hot hatch.

Maybe the vid exaggerated things as i'd say the Trophy driver was better than the Vee's.

an average driver could exploit much more of a clio trophy's performance on track than they could in a V6, thats the problem.

put a pro driver in both and i think the V6 would be pulling away!

Cracking vid, is that from this year ??

The V I seen on track at Brands this year looked very twisted on corners I was soo shocked ..

I love the way some ppl drop such words as destroy and anhilate in sentences, there not worlds apart in terms of performance, and as for handling video speaks a thousand words....

That vee was going slower than my nan on her way to the shops....no real comparison.
