Vacuum pipe from gearbox

Apologies for any vagueness...just put a new gearbox in my 182 and theres a pipe that runs from the box across the bulkhead past the battery and into the innerwing, but I can't see where it goes, any ideas?

Acoustic valve. Upto the port beside the tb.

No, it runs across the top of it then up to the inlet.

There is only a breather pipe that comes off the gearbox

There is a 15cm long pipe out the top as a breather
