Valve Cap Theft

yep, had some nice chrome ones, parked right outside the entrance to a pub cos it was the safest (so i thought) came out and they were gone!

go to halfords, we sell anti theft caps.

ive had mine for about 7 months and no wee dick has taken them...although im sure many have tried

yepe happened to me within 3hrs of getting my new car and they are only the little plastic black ones. they only took one though

i have no idea why they bother there like a few pence or something. its just annoying to have them taken from u.

Had some valve caps nicked off my first car, never bothered putting shiny ones on again. It only attracts the wee sh1tes!

mine were nicked this morning took one from front and one from back..can you get ones with security key or something coz they do look better

I must be really lucky then.. cause Ive had mine a few months now and to the best of my knowledge they are still on the car.

you can get ones with a grub screw in the side, which you screw up with an allen key into the thread on the valve,

however they will probably f*ck the thread up when they try to unscrew it.

personally i think its its not worth the hassle, as it only attracts the little sh*tes to your car !!

Little Pricks across the road on Scooters that hang out in the Garage of this little scrote nicked one of my Black ones! I watched them do it!

So when I came back that nite after being out took it back screwed it back on mine and let his Tyre down as I know he starts work early on a Sunday. Popped inside Wrote a little note and stuck it on his Bike. They havent touched it since!!!

Some people really are in need of being shot!

Sympathies Paddy. Actually I had the opposite problem - couldnt get the bloody things off! Ended up having new valves, and Ill be sticking with the black plastic ones from now on

Everything temperature related has gone haywire since the Euro trip m8. External temp reads very high (it was 32 degrees in Telford today apparently), and the climate control doesnt seem to want to quit - regardless of settings it just keeps pumping out the cold air at full blast until there are icicles forming on the roof-lining

Booked in on Wednesday for de-bewildering and to get the engine-mount clonk noise sorted.

No its a heavy clonk when I pull off. Happens in second too sometimes. I think its an engine mount, but I bet 2p they blame my exhaust I heard the wheelspin thing is actually meant to happen, dont know why though.

same here. had the car not even a week. and some tw*t nicked just one rubber black dustcap when parked in the college car park.

its not the dustcap, its the principal. they need a kick in the mouth. theiving parascites

Ive had 6 sets pinched in 4 months. Kids and their bikes eh ? I just hope I dont catch them cause they have really p*ssed me off.

1 set was the anti theft ones from Halfords (they nicked the back 2) B*stards.

I better stop now or I will wind myself up all day about it again.......!

I have some normal silvery ones from Ripspeed. The problem is theyre actually too long, they stick out further than the wheel! If you want to see if they fit on yours send me ur address by pm and ill wing them over to you.

had 2 little sh*ts try and steal mine while i were at the gym. ran up 2 one of them and grabbed him and started swearing in his face til he was shaking but the other fast little kid got away-got my caps back tho
