Valver mods

  clio 16v
right so far i have, cat back system, de-cat, and i/k. what do i do next?
chip?? or what else would people suggest?

cam's + chip if your getting a chip its going to have to be mapped, then if you get cams after its going to have to be mapped again so may aswell do both at the same time

Big valved flowed head and cams (as you can use these if you want to 2ltr it). Probably need a chip to run that...either hillpower or you can pick them up cheap enough on ebay (sub-£100). Would also recommend removing PAS.

whats it feel like dog heavy?

When I was fixing the valver once I borrowed my mums old early RT with no pas and I couldn't believe how hard it was to do any parking!

£100 rack from euro car parts (can be had for peanuts from a second hand RN)
£150 for the column from Reno (can be had for peanuts from a second hand RN)
£50 for the altenater bracket, belt and tensioner from Bondy

ive got a supersprint manifold on my 2litre and that feals so much better for the engine, people say stick with standard as the supersprint is very expensive! but if you got money to burn do it! sounds a bit raspy but definately alot more torque, it gave be a good increase and i certainly noticed it and so did my passenger ;)

Decat is essential along with stainless system, make sure you stay with the original airbox and get a panel filter, then get an smt6 from Andy GDI, better than a chip as it is mapped to your engine and mods! then get cams headwork etc then another remap which is cheaper since you have the smt6 :D

as for the PAS only get that if you have arms the size of tree trunks lol, takes some effort to park it! definately gettin it for mine eventually though!
