anyone got any clues as to why my valver sits at about 850/900rpm on a normal day yet today it seems to be idling at about 550/600, but sometimes sits at 1200rpm!!!

Jase, You havent got a carb. Its multipoint injection. My cars been doin the same as Naples valver. Only once every few months though for about a week at a time. lol. Most people on renaultsport said it was the cts ( Coolent temp sensor) apparently its common on the f7p and f7r engines. When it fooks up it makes you car think the engine temp is wrong, so it trys to adjust. Im gonna get one soon.
