Valver Oil

Anybody know what is the best grade and brand of oil to use in my valver please?

5W40 Silkolene Pro S. This seems to be asked weekly.

Also used Castrol RS which was good. Avoid Mobil 1.

What sort of price do they normally go for then mate?
I always thought elf was the one to use!

Check oilman website/post on here. Group buy going on too.

Silkolene is one of teh best but expensive. If you can get Fuchs then they are same company and sometimes easier to get from Motorist Shops. Good thing with Silkolene though is that it is 5 litres where lots come in 4 litres.

Have used Duckhams QXR, Halfords and Total Quartz 7000 semi synthetics. Full Synthetics are better and Silkolene is best I have used. Castrol RS a close second.

Ebay also has some quite good deals but postage works out expensive where as oilman posts free over £30.
