valver on carbs

Whats the tape around the hole in the bonnet all about?

What about air filter? Does it sit outside the bonnet?

What a waste of s good car! As for the professional conversion, why muck about with carbs when it doesnt even have a full exhaust system? No air filters either with the carbs are free to suck in all the dirt/rain from the cars in front of you -

Looks like a homer thats gone wrong and now the owner wants rid - id stay well clear. Chances are itll have more hidden problems......

Nice use of black electrical tape.

And youre just asking for someone to pour stuff down the exposed throttle body inlets!!! Bet drunk people piss into that when they walk past at night.

needs sum tlc but an interesting conversion, would like to know what sort of air the r1 carbs flow at 6000 rpm ive played this game before with bike carbs honda 1000 cc they would flow suffiecent air for my 1.2/1,3 nova but no more ,who knows the could be fine think il steer clear tho

Those are mukini slide throttle carbs......no butterflys.

Interesting conversion, not finished it looks so dont worry abut missing filters and tape.....easily sorted.

Those carbs are fine and used in many conversions over here and in japan as manifolds can be made easily......shame his is horrid. Depending which ones they are.......good for up to 200 brake.
