valver problem - severe knocking noise

Hi all

before I go to a mechanic I was hoping for some advice on a serious problem i have with my clio valver (1992). Basically i get a really bad vibrating noise coming from the car when the steering wheel is slightly turned right. When the car is straight or leftwards the noise goes. The car is also pulling to one side.

Any ideas what this could be? the tyre pressures are ok and it isnt the alloys either.

Bearing but ifs its knocking when turning it could be the CV joint/driveshaft

Really obvious (i know), but have you checked the wheel bolts...mine was doing a similar thing on a track day and just founf that the bolts were not torqued up correctly.. Also have the CV joint problem (but only at low speed), packed the joint with grease and all's been well for the last 10k...
