Valver probs

Got a problem with my valver. 1st gear is fine, but then every other gear revs get to 5000 and all power is lost???? It feels like its hitting the limiter. Anyone got any ideas what this could be?

that's what i thought it might be. Its been chipped, but this has only just started happening.

what condition are the leads/plugs/dizzi cap etc in...

if its 100% feeling like its hitting the limitor then its probably a dodgy rev counter!

revs asside, what speed in 2nd does it happen?

its defo not the rev counter cause it would do it in every gear if it was. Plus it isn't going as fast in each gear as it was last week??????

this might sound daft, but take the battery off for a bit and see if it feels faster afterwards, mine did, and so did 'the nana'

Sounds like fuel supply (filter/pump) or a map sensor problem if it only does it in higher gears
