Valver Surge From 3,500k

Do all valvers pull like a train from 3,500? its so damn responsive from 3.5k in 2nd and 3rd...

yes, they come on cam fairly late for a production engine....which is to be expected from the engine design.

Mine is standard and it kicks in at 3.7 - 3.8K????

Found mine kicks in at 3.5 after having a chip fitted. Drivability is much improved too. Unless its been rrd you may not know if you have one or not, although rev limiter should give that away.

If its pulling like that as standard its a good engine.
