valver tuning

  super smooth, low corsa c
hi ya

i want to know what bits to get for my valver engine to tune it up. what do you think is good?

i have a fully tuned head by hill power. racing cam belt. uprated plugs. piper cams and verner pullys. low temp fan switch. straight thought pipes.

also what is best to set the verner pullys at?

thanks ben

Hill power would have been the people to set your cams when they mapped it (I assume it was mapped with the cams?).
Best modification IMo is a 2.0 Megan/Williams bottom end.

oooh racing cam belt lol! just kiddin mate!

straight though pipes? Does that mean de-cat too?

Manifold and remap maybe next sensible mods.....

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT
2.0 16v mate.

faster stock than most tuned 1.8's unless your spending daft money on them!

i spend about £k's on my old 1.8 and both 2.0's iv had since would wipe the floor with it even with less modifications!

best power on cams can be timed in... but for the effort on the 1800 you need to rev it HIGH!

the 2.0 lends itself better to lower "road" power.
