Valver tuning?

right got my valver at last! looking to mod it possibly in the future, keeping the outside as standard as possible, but do a few engine mods to increase performance, i know the standerd things to do would be exhuast system, de-cat and a remap, not looking to spend thousand of pounds worth! herd about cams but have basic understanding of them can anyone tell me more?, offer good makes? basicaly trying to make my car sleeperish to the people not in the know! :evil:

best thing would be cams and a map really. Piper 270s are about the best value for gains given. You'll need adjustable pulleys and a setup to get the best out of them. Paddys works pretty well on standard pulleys though.
