Vehicle inspection for insurance!!

I have justt taken out insurance with Adrian Flux (Royal Sun Alliance) and i had a phone call to day for someone to come and inspect my car.


Has anyone else had this? what exactly are they looking at? its only a year old. Is this normal now?

Thats a new one on me, Royal Sun Alliance are my current insurance company as well.

It could be they have found something suspicious with the car....

a) It could be that the car has a hidden history? Maybe been written off at some stage

b) They are checking for modifications, as there is a lot of people not declaring mods.

c) Some random checks? In every industry theres checks etc... maybe u just got caught up in a routine check.

The cars std and i've had it from new, apparently it is all random, but i'm not convinced.

Had a letter with my policy explaining it (just found)
