My car finally went to the bodyshop yesterday for its repaint.

Having the whole thing done bar the roof.

Can't wait to get it back. I love it when the car goes away for a while to have work done.

Went to pester the guy/have a look today and it looks sorry for itself....

Side strips missing, bonnet off, Back wingbeing repaired, bumper off, headlights out.....

Can't friggin wait though

Yeah its staying silver.

It had been keyed down one side and had a dent in the other. The boonet and bumper had the usual stone chips so just thought f**k it, may as well go balls deep and get it looking proper.

Once thats done, i need to refit the standard interior trim, new front tyres and an MOT and Hey presto!! One mint 172! With a 3000 mile old blueprinted Engine too

I'm going to try and keep it for FCS and maybe even a track day. I've just got my trade plates now so I can legally drive it too

I've got no idea how much its going to cost.... lol He'll just send the invoice over to me! I'd imagine around £6/700 tbh.

Ian, should be back friday. He purposely never booked anything else in this week so he could crack on and get it done.
