Not a massive fan. But the attention to detail is second to none by the looks of it.

LOL at the price of the wheels too

Complete lack of imagination spraying that car white! Bit suprised they did a half assed attemped at spraying the wheels. They didn't even remove the tyres.

Some dickhead premiership kickball player got hold of it or was it an equally tacky American or Middle Eastern gentleman? Looks s**t.

Rear clam off looks like the frickin batmobil!!

Before - win

Not a pretty car to start with IMO.
If I had that much money I'd strip it down and make a cup version. See how much weight I could save.

Does that also apply to GW 197/200s with black speedlines as well?

I never tire of looking at these, the engineering, to fit so much into such a small package is epic.

  Never above 25mpg
For the fact it's only white and not a really special paint colour they could've done a wrap so much easier

I look on here sometimes and think,"hey, they must be doing well" affording a new 250 meg or 2nd hand porsche. Then i see things like this and realise they are just as poor as me....lol

Should of just put the wheels on and driven it bare Mad Max style, would sound awesome.

It's hardly ruined, or an abomination or all of the above comments is it?

It was red and black, it's now white.. Crime of the century???

Would it be ruined if it had been white from the factory...probably not..

Bear in mind £185k on veyron wheels is like £1k on wheels for a 172... Everything's relative

I can't see how the wheels cost that much!

Even for a bespoke set where would machine out the tools for casting etc, would be nowhere near half that figure!

f**k stripping that down, bet it's now got more rattles than a stripped out Clio.

I don't think it looks bad in white, loose the stickers and i think I would rather it white than the 2 tone red and black.

I disagree. The price of the wheels isn't the problem.

He painted the centres black. It's horrendous.

I think that only VW/Audi own the means to make a wheel that can take 250+mph.

They are not a set of TSW stealths.

1k on wheels for a 172? Have you looked at any threads on this forum lately? The children on here with 172's are all about the Rotas.

FLOL

if im ever rich enough to own a veyron (extremely unlikely) I'm going to have ROTA make me a set of grids up for it!

I wonder how fast you could go before the spokes left the rims and shot up through the wings?!

Wheels seem excessive, but think about what these have to do that mere mortal wheels don't?

I read something once about the tyre valves, how normal valves would open due to the centrifugal force on the valve mechanism at 250mph letting your tyres down, so they had to engineer valves that could cope and keep the air in.

That was in evo mag when they brought out the supersport version, the centrifugal forces at 250mph+ are unbelievable, it was something like each tyre valve ends up weighing around 6kg lol!

Spot on Mark, and Bear in mind also that in £'s that is - £114,000 - the tyres will take £25,000 of that ,so the wheels (considering what they are going on and the force/weight they have to take) isn't 'that' crazy as im guessing they are one off's.

I do prefere it before, it now just looks like a white Veyron - with all the work I was expecting more, but then again a white Veyron isn't exactly bad!

That looks absolutely stunning!

Chav? are you mad? it's painted white. Every time someone paints a clio white on here everyone wets their pants
Such a weird forum

Loved the colour before. Hasn't ruined it but he hasn't made it any better. Even so he's stripping down a Veyron to paint it while we are taking our brake calipers off to paint them. I know who I'd rather be!

I think it looks really good! Looks so mean from the back with the body off!!! Looks like the back of a feakin batmobile with the size of the wheels!

  Evo 5 RS
Not quite what I expected at the end. Wheels don't suit it...

Fixable but for that money I'd be chopping it back in for a rethink
