Vibration from the front end and Steering pulling to the left

  Clio 172
Afternoon All,

Had my Clio for around a month and so far I’m impressed, it was bought as a run around whilst I moved house but as its better than expected im keeping it. It was cheap it inevitably had some issues, that need sorting.

The front end is very woolly. The steering is pulling to the left and under braking and cornering the steering tends to wander. Also under hard acceleration and when the driver’s side front wheel is under load there is a horrible vibration/knocking.

I have changed the steering rack mounting bushes (looked perished) and inspected the dog bone bush which seems to be all ok. Going to get under it again this evening to see what’s up. My initial thought are the CV joint on the driver’s side.

Anyone got any suggestions or experienced similar ?

Thanks

Adam
