Vibration through steering wheel

Recently I have noticed a lot of vibration coming through my steering wheel at motorway speeds. Any ideas what would cause it?

Weight dropped off a wheel, now out of balance?

Those bloody pot holes!!!!!

First check all your wheel nuts are tight, If its not that then i'd suggest getting your wheels balanced.
