video editing

i have a movie i need to edit.

Filmed it off my u600 but nero only recognises it as a audio file, Adobe premiere doesnt even recognise it and my windows movie makers doesnt work.

now if i click it i can watch the movie on screen but if i import it into nero movie maker is only says its a mp4 file with audio only???? help me please.


need a little help guys.

Maybe the editing programs you have can't import mp4. Try and convert the video to a different format first.

what is the best type? on screen its a nero gold disc and nero plays it?
