Video from Digital Cam to computer help please!!

Hey

Can anyone help - I have uploaded a video from my digital camera to my PC but they won't play.

A colleague has suggested I need to download a programme to play it through?

Is this the case or is it pilot error on my behalf?

I have tried Windows media player with no luck...

Sorry to ask, but I'm not great with computers!!

What file extension is it?

That will probably play it.

Download VLC player or cccp codecs. Both can be grabbed from ninite.com.

VLC is probably your best bet, plays practically anything.
