I've always wondered why they couldn't transmit F1 or touring cars to some sort of graphics client.
I mean, these days, especially with F1, there's so much telemetry they know exactly where a car is on the track and what it's doing. All they need to do is collate all that info from all the ars, and stream it to some sort of graphics client that has the circuit already on it, then you could view the race from wherever you wanted.
